The White Angel is part of Mironosica's composition on the tomb of Christ from the Church of the Ascension of Christ's Monastery of Mileseva, and is one of Serbia's most famous frescoes, but it is also one of the great reaches of European painting. It is considered one of the most beautiful works of Serbian and European art of the Middle Ages.
