The church celebrates this saint - Alimpijevdan on November 26 according to the old calendar, or on December 9 according to the new one, and his skull is in the treasury of the Kutlumush monastery on Mount Athos.
The Serbian Orthodox Church and the faithful celebrate the Venerable Alimpije Stolpnik on December 9. Although it is not marked with a red letter in the calendar, this saint is highly respected among the Serbian people, and according to some data, he is in the fifteenth place among Serbs. As a Slava it is most often celebrated in Podrinje.
The icon is carved in the vine frame.
