Saint (Holy martyr) Trifun was born in the village of Campsadi in Phrigia, in a very poor family. Since childhood, God's great grace has been on him, he has been able to heal human and cattle diseases and expel evil spirits. At that time, the Emperor Gordian III, whose daughter Gordiana descended from the mind, dominated the Roman Empire, and thus cast her father in great sadness. All the doctors were not able to help crazy Gordiana. Then the evil spirit of a crazy girl spoke and said that no one could drive him out except Trifun. The Emperor ordered that all Trifuns from the Empire be brought to the court. After many Trifuns this young Trifun was called by divine foreknowledge. They brought him to Rome where he healed the emperor's daughter. The emperor gave him many gifts, which Trifun distributed to the poor. In his village he continued his life praying to God. But when the emperor become Deacon of Trajan (who was fighting against Christ), Saint Trifun was tortured for Christ. But he submitted all the tortures with joy great, saying, "Oh, that I could not even dignify that with fire and torment ends up in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord and my God!". All the torments did not harm him so his torturers condemned him to death by sword. Before death, Trifun prayed to God and gave his soul to his Creator in the year 250.
