Product name: Large box Emblem of Despot Stefan Lazarevic

The Knightly Order of the Dragon was formed on 12.12.1408. It was founded by the Hungarian king, later Roman emperor Sigmund of Luxembourg. The Order chose St. George and St. Margaret as its patrons, and the reason for establishing the order was to protect Christian Europe and Christian values.
Twenty-four of the most worthy European knights of the era, personalities of high moral principles, elites in the broadest sense of the term, were members of the First Order of the Dragon. The honorary seat of the first knight according to the founding charter - the first among equals - was despot Stefan Lazarevic, master of Serbia.
The line symbol is a dragon with its tail wrapped around its neck. On the back of the dragon, from the neck all the way to the tail, was a red cross of St. George, while the entire symbol was on a silver background. The dragon represented the beast from the Book of Revelation, while the red cross symbolized Christ's victory over evil forces. The members of the order were expected to wear the symbol all the time, most often in the form of a medallion around their necks and were often buried with it.
Modern reconstruction of the emblem of Lazarevic, the work of Alexander Palavestra.

      Original handmade box.
The box is handmade from steamed beech wood in brown shades, stained, varnished and trimmed with surfaces protected by Annie Sloan wax.
The casting of the lid is cast in a handmade mold. The process of making and processing the casting is adapted to the rustic souvenir look.
The souvenir and the mold are the works of Dragan Vujnovic.
