East of Kistanje, next to the Krka River, is an ancient monastery erected in 1350 by the Serbian Princess Jelena, sister of Emperor Dušan and wife of Prince Mladen Subic.
The monastery is dedicated to St. Archangel Michael. It is believed that the monastery was erected at the site of the preaching of the apostle Paul to the Dalmatians.
Since its founding, to this day, the monastery has shared the destiny of its people and is still the spiritual center of the Orthodox Dalmatian Serbs.

Original handmade plaque / wall relief.
Made of hard cast material, painted with acrylic paints, patinated and varnished with acrylic lacquer.
The cast is made in a handmade mold. The process of making and processing the casting is adapted to the rustic souvenir look.
The souvenir and the mold are the works of Dragan Vujnovic.
