Sculpture inspired by Slavic mythology (the MOKOSH motif) represents a beautiful and original souvenir.
The author is sculptor Jovan Petronijević. It is made of resin, filled with plaster, hand cast, painted and patinated.

Each sculpture has the author's logo, ROD brand mark and original packaging with a description in two languages.
The sculptures are protected by the Intellectual Property Office.

MOKOSH, GODDESS OF FATE, PROTECTOR OF MOTHERS AND CHILDREN
Mokosh is celebrated among the Slavs as the Goddess of Fertility, she, together with Svarog, is responsible for the creation of people. She is the protector of women and women's jobs related to running a household, helps mothers in labor and protects their children. Many customs are related to Mokosh as the protector of the spinning area. Women threw into the water a tow that was called "mokrica" and represented the sacrifice of Mokosh. The yarn of the tow was not allowed to be left overnight so that it would not be washed by Mokosh. Scissors, basil and a piece of wool were placed under the feet of Mokosh's statue, which was intended to provide protection to the unshorn lambs. As it is tied to the spindle and horsetail, people have always associated it with Judges, more precisely, it was believed that Mokosh spins the threads of a person's destiny and decides on life and death.
Witchcraft is also associated with Mokosh, so some authors believe that her other aspect is actually Baba Yaga, a witch from Russian fairy tales who lives in a hut on chicken legs and helps young men and women by gifting them with magical objects.
Mokosh's holy day is Friday, and on that day a woman must not spin.
