Welcome to the world of Serbian and Slavic mythology!
Have you had a chance to see our mythological chess live or maybe try your skill in the game with the gods?
If you're seeing this for the first time, it's time to introduce it to you.
This chess is unique in the world.
It is certainly the first, and probably still the only one, inspired by Serbian (Slavic) mythology.
It consists of sculptures of gods and creatures from our mythology, which are the work of sculptor Jovan Petronijević.
It has non-standard dimensions, the board is approx. 60x60 cm, and the figures are from 8 to 13 cm high, depending on the role, massive and available in two colors - antique silver and bronze.
They are made of resin on the outside and filled with plaster.
This unique work of art is made by hand - cast, painted, patinated, varnished.
The chess board/box is also handmade from ash wood.
Five pairs of hardworking hands take about seven days to make each set.
The gods of the Slavic pantheon took their place on this board according to their role, none of them are there by chance.

IMPORTANT: This is primarily a decorative chess, a souvenir that should evoke the richness of Slavic mythology.
You can definitely play it, just keep in mind that the figures can break if handled roughly and carelessly, don't throw them, hit each other and press them in the heat of the game.
